Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat starrer ‘Actor in Law’ is all set for its screening in Mumbai, India.
‘Actor in Law’ is one of the last movies, Bollywood actor Om Puri worked in before his death in 2017. Therefore, in the honor of the late veteran actor, the film will be premiered in India.
The movie is planned to screen privately for a group of students at the Harkisan Mehta Institute in Mumbai on 10th August. The screening will be directed by the college’s orientation day, followed by the inauguration of the Om Puri Foundation.
While the movie was released in Pakistan in 2016 and was super hit, it was not released in India.
According to the co-producer Fizza Ali, the legendary actor Om Puri actively participated in promoting the movie in the country and quite surprisingly, he did not even charge a single penny for his hard work in ‘Actor in Law’. He loved the story and did the movie entirely on a friendly basis.
Earlier this year ‘Actor in Law’ was premiered in Rajhistan.
Fizza Ali Meerza and Nabeel’s another project together, ‘Load Wedding’ also stars Mehwsih and Fahad. The film will hit the theaters on Eidul Azha this year.
