CHARSADDA: Police have foiled a bid by three suspects to enter and attack the NADRA office on Tangi Road in Charsadda.
According to police, three suspected motorcyclists fired upon NADRA office on Thursday and tried to enter into the office. However, a police squad present at the location retaliated and foiled the attempt to attack the office.
Due to retaliatory firing by the police, the attackers barged into a nearby home in order to seek shelter. The people present in the home were terrified and called the police. In the meantime, the suspects fled.
Police said two motorcycles of the attackers have been taken into the possession, while the area has been cordoned off. A search operation has been started to arrest the suspects.
