‘Zardaris’ have taken over PPP, says Mumtaz Bhutto

Published on: July 18, 2018 9:03 PM

LARKANA: Veteran politician and former Sindh Chief Minister Mumtaz Ali Bhutto on Wednesday said that ‘Zardaris’ have taken over Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and are using the name of Bhuttos to further their agendas.

Speaking to various delegations at Mirpur Bhutto village, the PTI leader criticised the PPP leadership terming it as a party of ‘corrupt’ individuals who have ‘looted’ the country’s resources.

“Zardari’s are asking people to vote for them even after looting Pakistan’s resources during the past ten years. They, however, do not know that people are now politically more aware and will not fall into their trap this time around,” Mumtaz Bhutto said.

He said people are asking PPP why they did not bring reforms during their previous 10-year rule and how can they be relied upon now.

Mumtaz Bhutto said PPP is nowhere in the country but its name is heard only in Sindh which too will be eliminated after the upcoming elections.

He said PPP, a great political force which was made by Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto with his own hands, has been destroyed by ‘Zardaris’ through their unlawful activities.
