Conference on census awareness held in Shikarpur

SHIKARPUR: Speakers have urged members of all parties to ensuretheir participation in the up-coming house listing and census, which will begin on the 15th of April this year. This was stressed at an all parties’ conferencearranged by Qaumi Awami Tehreek Shikarpur chapter, at Shikarpur Press Club on Sunday.

The speakers included Zahid Ghalo, the divisional leaders QAT, Zafar Channa, the president of QAT Shikarpur, Zahid Bhanbhro, the general secretary QAT, Shoukat Baloch, founder member of Sambara Scouts, Tanveer Ahmed, Zahid Pahore, NPP leader, Dr Bashir Brohi, the PML-N leader, Aijaz Kakepoto, Pakistan Paramedical Leader, Majeebul Rahman Madani, Mushtaque Sunhro, the JUI-F leaders, Abdul Fatah Mahar, MATA leader,Asadullah Soomro, the central leader of JSM, Saeed Soomro, PPSB, Ahsan Jeho, STP leader, Azam Brohi, the PTI leader, Meer Brohi, Sindh Paramedical staff leader, Ali Ahmed Buriro, Shia Ulema Council, Abdul Sattar Soomro, Awami Tehreek leader, Mian Zafar Alvi, Irshad Shaikh, PPP, Sami Bilali, JSQM, Ali Asghar pahore, the Chairman Save Shikarpur, and others. They all highlighted the importance of this census and house-listing and called on the people of Sindh to take a keen interest in the up-coming 6th census campaign so that Sindh can be provided its due rights.

In addition, speakers answered any questions the audience had about the census, accordingly.A 10 members committee was also formed, the purpose of which will be to spread awareness of the census in and across Shikarpur.

A large number citizens attended the conference and vowed that they would take part in the census for the larger interests of the Sindh.
