A delegation of the Defence Residents Association led by Sharifuddin Memon Saturday met Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and apprised the latter about the water problems in Defence. Murtaza Wahab, Principal Secretary to CM Sohail Rajput and Water Board managing director were also present on the occasion. During the meeting, Murtaza Wahab suggested the chief minister to install desalination plants, which he said would solve the problem of water shortage in Defence, Clifton and other areas. The chief minister said that the government would work with the DHA to install desalination plants. The delegation also congratulated the chief minster on the construction of Submarine Underpass and Sunset Boulevard Flyover. The delegates said that the two projects would help address traffic woes in Defence and Clifton. The chief minister said: “I am also a resident of Defence and an honourary member of its committee.
