‘Manzoorism is the philosophy of hearkening the sobs and sighs of deprived ones. Manzoorism means honouring the tears of widows and orphans. Manzoorism is the manifestation of true Pakhtunwali. Manzoorism is about ensuring equality and standing accountable the unaccountable. Manzoorism is about not letting institutions overstep their boundaries. Manzoorism is the name of struggle for attaining the rights of the destitute. Manzoorism means giving voice to the voiceless’.
In the light of Manzoor Ahmad Pashteen’s vision, Pakistan has a great opportunity to eschew its past follies and start operating in the better interest of its people. If his words are valued then our position as a state in the comity of nations can be bettered.
Unfortunately, certain second rate anchors and politicians have been tasked with executing a smear campaign against him. These paid critics stoop very low, resorting to name calling and throwing around labels like ‘traitor’. However, this doesn’t bother Manzoor, all it really does is expose the inferiority of his critics.

Contrary to this conventional mode of responding to sane voices, we should debate on future prospects of the Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM). Our priority should have been helping the PTM morph into a national movement rather than castigating them for demanding their due rights. Sanguinely,our subject of debate should have been the consciousness which PTM has created among the masses about their constitutional rights.
This is why Manzoor’s vision has been transformed into a philosophy! His words find immense traction with the masses. What he utters becomes a rule for his supporters. What he feels is felt by everyone among his followers. This intimation weaves an ever-lasting bond between Manzoor and his followers.
To sum it up, Manzoorism ensures the sanctity of our Constitution and is interlinked with Pakistan’s emergence as a true democratic polity. It educates us in distinguishing right from wrong. Last but not least if we imbibe Manzoorism as a nation then we can function as any other prosperous and progressive country. Thus, Manzoorism should be given the place in our national debate which it meritoriously deserves.
