DCO to train officials for upcoming Elections 2018

KHAIRPUR: A meeting was conducted at the deputy commissioner office (DCO) on Saturday to examine the training of the presiding Officers, assistant presiding officer and polling officers of Naushahro Feroze District, for the upcoming general elections.

The meeting was headed by deputy commissioner Dr Waseem Ali, who urged the government officials to ensure that nominated officers are present in the training session, otherwise action would be taken against them according to election rules of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

The District Election Commissioner (DEC) Khalid Ahmed informed the meeting that a training session would initiate from May 7 till May 12 at the district head quarter while absent employees would be sent to other districts for completion of training.

Meanwhile, the District Election Commissioner has acquired the lists of officers of 17 provincial and federal departments who are nominated to serve in the polling of upcoming general elections.
