LAHORE: Pakistani all-rounder Faheem Ashraf on Wednesday said that he is determined to serve the country in all three formats of the game, including the Tests. “I am working hard to maintain my form and fitness and I will try my best to justify my selection in all three formats,” Faheem said while speaking to the media during a national team training camp at Gaddafi Stadium. Faheem added that being part of the Test team is a dream come true for any young cricketer and that he is extremely pleased due to his selection in the Test squad. “I am extremely pleased to be named in the longer format. Representing Pakistan’s national cricket team is a huge challenge and I am looking forward to it,” the 24-year-old said. The young all-rounder continued that the PCB has provided UK-like pitches in Lahore, which have helped the team a lot and that the national team is capable enough to overcome the challenges in England and Ireland. Pakistani team will depart to the United Kingdom on Monday, where they will face Ireland on May 11 in the first Test of the tour, while the team will also face England in two Test matches.
