LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz’s MNA, Wasim Akhtar, and MPA Naeem Safdar gave themselves up to the police Wednesday night after 70 people were booked for holding anti-judiciary protests in Kasur. 55 workers from the PML-N have now been arrested in two separate cases pertaining to protests against the judiciary and state institutions. The two cases were filed by Constable Abdul Rasheed and Major (retd.) Habib-ur-Rehman, and rested on the grounds that protestors used inappropriate language against the judiciary and other state organs during a rally on the 13th of April.
