Former Test Cricket player and one of Pakistan’s most prolific batsmen, Younis Khan claimed via a video message on Twitter that he was quitting the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) level-III course that he had been invited to attend.
In the message, Khan claimed that he had received an e-mail from the National Cricket Academy (NCA) inviting him to attend the course. Khan says that he was very excited about the invitation and decided to immediately head to Lahore, where the course was happening.
On arrival, however, the T20 winning captain was informed that he would have to stay in the room of a senior NCA official who was not present at the academy.
Addressing his audience in the video, Younis said that he felt ashamed and considered it ethically wrong to stay in an absent official’s room without the person’s consent.
Younis thus decided to quit the course and immediately head back to Karachi.
