LAHORE: Renowned human rights activist and the wife of Indian-Held Kashmir leader Yasin Mullick, Mushaal Mullick has said the Indian forces are brutally killing innocent Kashmiris daily and people of IHK have high expectations from Pakistan for resolving their issues. She said that if Pakistan did not help Kashmiris, India would stop Pakistan’s water supply and Pakistani people would not have access to even drinking water. She was addressing a seminar on Indian atrocities in Kashmir organised by Punjab University Centre for South Asian Studies and Department of Political Science on Thursday. Professor Dr Umbreen Javed, renowned columnist Dr Mujahid Mansoori, faculty members as well as PhD and MPhil scholars participated in the seminar. In her address, Mushaal Mullick said that Kashmiris were praying and looking over Pakistan for help. She requested the youth to join hands with her to help the Kashmiris. She said that youth could play an important role social media. Dr Umbreen Javaid in her welcome address thanked Mushaal Mullick and said that Kashmir was burning today and the people of IHK were looking over us. She said that we should help them save their lives. She further said that it was the youth which must come forward and play a role for liberation of Kashmiris from occupied forces.
