A Pakistani national was deported from Netherlands on Friday. The Immigration authority has claimed the illegal stay of Rehmat Hayat, resident of Nowshera, a rural city of Pakistan. Upon his detention at Allama Iqbal Airport in Lahore, the immigration officials handed him over to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for further investigation. In just a span of five years from 2012 to 2017, a total of 544,105 Pakistani nationals had been deported from many countries, the majority being 116,185 in 2015. The primary reasons of deportation are overstay, illegal entrance and immigration. Data collected from the official sources terms the deportation majority as of 116,185 in 2015, followed by 111,084 in 2016, 87,165 in 2017, 79,539 in 2013 and 71,723 in 2012. Saudi Arabia tops the list of deportation where the number was 64,689 in the year 2017 alone. United Arab Emirates deported 5,115 Pakistani nationals in 2017, followed by 9,987 in 2016, 8,690 in 2015, 8,434 in 2014, 9,597 in 2013 and 10,235 in 2012. Turkey deported 2,815 whereas Malaysia deported 1,490 Pakistani nationals in the year 2017. Furthermore, Malaysia had deported 3664, 3910, 4265, 1727, 1068 from the years 2016 to 2012, respectively.
