LAHORE: The Arts Society of the Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Medical and Dental College hosted SKZMDC’s most-awaited intercollegiate event ‘SKZMDC ARTS FEST ’18’ under the supervision of Prof Dr Farid Ahmad, chairman and dean Shaikh Zayed Medical Complex/Principal Medical College on Friday. At least 10 teams from different colleges of the country, including Allama Iqbal Medical College, Ameeruddin Medical College, CMH Medical College, Akhtar Saeed Medical College, Rehbar Medical and Dental College, Lahore Medical and Dental College, Lahore College for Women University, Nawaz Sharif Medical College Gujrat, Fatima Memorial Medical College and University of Lahore participated in the event. It was a team-based contest where participants competed with each other in a range of fine arts activities, including photo and painting exhibition, tug of war, live sketching, hunger games, treasure hunt, pipes and marbles to name a few. A total of 18 different categories contributing to the score-sheet ensured a tough and engaging competition among the teams till the end and a food court section was also arranged consisting of many booths where students sell their home-made food items.
