Sir: The Supreme Court (SC) has done well by taking action against PML-N senator Nehal Hashmi. The senator’s thuggish speeches last year in which he threatened the judiciary, the Panama paper’s case Joint Investigation Team (JIT) and the opposition were intolerable. Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar has also taken suo motu notice of similar statements made by State Minister for Interior Talal Chaudhary. Hopefully he will soon join Nehal Hashmi. However, former Prime Minister and PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif remains devoid of wisdom. He continued his tirades against the judiciary, despite the action taken by the SC. It is time now for SC to leave the little fish alone and go for the two big fish, Nawaz and his daughter Maryam. They have committed contempt of court repeatedly since the Panama case began.
