Published on: December 17, 2017 2:45 AM

Actor Mohsin Abbas Haider revealed sad news on Saturday when he disclosed that his one-month-old daughter had passed away.

We reached out to the star to inquire about the cause of the child’s passing, but there has been no comment so far. This favourite celebrity of ours has always dazzled the screen and has held his own.

In a heartbreaking post on Facebook and Instagram, Mohsin Abbas Haider, who starred in the critically acclaimed ‘Na Maloom Afraad’ and ‘Na Maloom Afraad 2’, urged followers and fans to remember his daughter Mahveen Abbas Haider in their prayers.

Mohsin frequently posted pictures of his daughter on Instagram and needless to say, his followers were quite in love with the little girl. It is unknown as to what led to the death of Mohsin’s daughter.

Other than acting, Mohsin is also a singer, writer and a host. He started his career as an RJ on a radio station in Faisalabad. Later he moved to Karachi to learn singing art and improve his career at NAPA. He made his debut song “Bay Parwah Dhola” composed by himself and video directed by Nabeel Qureshi. In 2012, Mohsin was nominated for Best RJ category in Pakistan Media Awards.

He also appeared in several TV shows as a host and as a voice over artist. In 2014, he appeared in his debut film ‘Na Maloom Afraad’ playing the lead role of Moon along with Fahad Mustafa and Javed Sheikh. Later on, he featured in ‘Coke Studio’ season 9 and sung “Uddi Ja” which is written by himself and composed by Jaffer Zaidi. He is currently a DJ on popular show ‘Mazaaq Raat’.
