ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court will announce its reserved verdict in the disqualification case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and Secretary General Jahangir Tareen today (Friday) at 2:00 pm.
A three-member Supreme Court bench comprising Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar, Justice Umar Ata Bandial and Justice Faisal Arab had reserved the verdict on Nov 14, 2017, after almost a year long lengthy hearings.
The petition was filed by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader MNA Hanif Abbasi in November 2016, seeking disqualification of Imran Khan and Jahangir Tareen as members of the parliament for non-disclosure of their assets, ownership of offshore companies and PTI being a foreign-aided party.
