Robbers’ gang busted, valuables recovered

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) police busted a three-member robber gang and recovered looted valuables worth hundreds of thousands rupees and arms on Tuesday.

Constituted by SP (City) Zubair Ahmed Sheikh, a team of Bhara Kahu police led by DSP Safeer Bhatti and including SHO Malik Basheer Ahmed, ASI Aashiq Hussain and others conducted the operation against outlaws during which a three-member robber gang was busted.

Looted valuables worth hundreds of thousands rupees and a pistol were recovered from the detainees identified as Asif, Arif and Niaz.

Police said that the detainees were involved in several theft incidents.

Cases were registered against the detainees and further investigation was underway.
