Pakistan Beat Bangladesh 3-0 in CAVA Men’s Volleyball Championship

Published on: July 25, 2026 2:31 AM

Pakistan continued their impressive run at the CAVA Men’s Volleyball Championship, defeating Bangladesh in straight sets to register their second consecutive victory in the tournament.

The national side dominated proceedings from the outset and never allowed Bangladesh to settle into the match. Pakistan won the opening set 25-16 before maintaining their momentum to take the second set 25-17.

Bangladesh put up a stronger fight in the third set and pushed Pakistan hard, but the national team remained composed and produced a confident display to win the set 25-22, completing a convincing 3-0 victory without dropping a single set.

The win marks Pakistan’s second successive triumph in the championship and further strengthens their position among the leading contenders for the title.

Speaking exclusively to our correspondent after the match, Pakistan head coach Luis Alberto said that winning the first two matches was very important for the team’s morale and confidence. He said the team would make every effort to maintain the winning streak and carry the same momentum into the upcoming matches.

The head coach further said that the team had prepared extensively for the tournament, adding that the players deserved credit for executing the plans given to them by the coaching staff in the best possible manner.
