Justin Bieber and BTS member V captured fans’ attention after sharing a warm backstage greeting following the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final halftime show at MetLife Stadium. The heartfelt interaction quickly spread across social media, with fans praising the mutual respect displayed between the two global music stars after their performances.

The historic halftime show took place during the FIFA World Cup 2026 final between Argentina and Spain, bringing together some of the biggest names in international music. Justin Bieber and BTS headlined the 11-minute production, delivering back-to-back performances that became one of the event’s biggest entertainment highlights.

After completing his performance, Justin Bieber was welcomed backstage by V, also known as Taehyung, who embraced the Canadian singer and congratulated him on his performance. Their friendly exchange quickly went viral online, reflecting the long-standing admiration shared between the two internationally recognized artists and delighting fans across the world.

During the show, BTS performed their global hit Dynamite while wearing coordinated black-and-red outfits and introduced football-themed lyrics to match the World Cup atmosphere. Meanwhile, Justin Bieber presented an emotional acoustic performance of Everything Hallelujah from his album Swag II, accompanied only by his guitar and vocals.

The halftime show also featured a humorous introduction by Jason Sudeikis and Brendan Hunt in their Ted Lasso characters before the musical performances began. In addition, Madonna, Shakira, Burna Boy, and Coldplay joined the star-studded lineup, making the first FIFA World Cup Final halftime show a memorable entertainment spectacle for football and music fans alike.
