Despite being ghosted, Holland spoke highly of the Norwegian striker and praised his achievements on and off the football field. He described Haaland as an incredible player and an absolute legend, making it clear that the incident had not changed his admiration for the football star.
Haaland had previously explained that he did not respond because he did not know who Tom Holland was when the message arrived. Meanwhile, the striker has continued to enjoy an impressive year, helping Norway reach the FIFA World Cup quarter-finals for the first time in the nation’s history.
