Intellectuals pay tribute to Qazi Khizr Hayat on his death anniversary

Bazm-e- Rooh Rihan in its continued series of literary sessions on Sunday hosted an event to remember poet Qazi Khizar Hayat on the occasion of his 5th death anniversary.

Literary meeting held in the office of Tajran Sindh Qasimabad in which intellectuals paid rich tribute to him and requested to establish a corner in Institute of Sindhology.

While presiding over the event, Professor Dr. Qazi Khadim said that Sindh’s art is embodied in the spirit of Qazi Khizr Hayat, which could not be forgotten.

Special guest Manzar Hayat said that he inherited the passion of serving Sindh through art from my elders. He added that Qazi Khizr Hayat efforts were being taken to establish hcorner in Sindhology during Mahmood Mughal’s tenure, but was stopped due to unknown reasons.

Wahida Qazi read in praise of his father Qazi Khizr Hayat. Pritam Qazi said that Qazi Khizr Hayat would live on through his art and art.

Shahnawaz Sharif, AD Kabooro Ghulam Rasool Ghazi and others also expressed their views.

In the meeting, writers Saleem Chana and Muhammad Ali Chana Qazi read sketches on the scene of Hayat.
