The National Disaster Management Authority has issued an alert regarding widespread rain, windstorms, and isolated hailstorms in several parts of Pakistan from Monday to Friday.
The authority said that Punjab is likely to witness rain, dust storms, and isolated hailstorms, with rainfall expected in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Murree, Attock, Chakwal, Lahore, Sialkot, Kasur, Multan, and adjoining areas.
In Balochistan, strong winds accompanied by rain and isolated hailstorms have been predicted for Quetta, Zhob, Ziarat, Chaman, and Khuzdar, while temperatures are expected to rise in other districts of the province.
The NDMA further said that various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Chitral, Swat, Peshawar, Bannu, Abbottabad, Mansehra, and Landi Kotal, may receive rain and thunderstorms during the forecast period.
Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir are also likely to experience thunderstorms and isolated hailstorms in Gilgit, Skardu, Hunza, Astore, Muzaffarabad, Neelum Valley, Bagh, and Kotli.
Most areas of Sindh continue to experience soaring temperatures
Hot and dry weather in most districts of the Sindh province is expected during the next 24 hours. However, very hot weather is predicted in upper districts. Mainly, hot and dry weather is likely to prevail in the province.
