Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar, in his special message on the occasion of Mother’s Day, paid rich tribute to mothers across the world, particularly the great mothers of Pakistan, stating that a mother is the greatest symbol of love, sacrifice, compassion, and selflessness, unmatched in the world.
He said that a mother dedicates her entire life to the better upbringing, character building, and bright future of her children. He added that the role of a mother is the most important in the development of society, the promotion of moral values, and the foundation of a strong family system.
The Sindh Home Minister said that a mother is the noble personality who becomes a shield for her children in every difficult time and continues to strive for their success and prosperity without caring for her own comfort and happiness. He said that Islam also places the highest importance on the respect, dignity, and elevated status of mothers.
Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar further said that Mother’s Day is not just about celebrating one day, but about promoting respect for mothers, recognition of their sacrifices, and protection of their rights in society. He urged the public to make serving, respecting, and loving their mothers a part of their daily lives, as a mother’s prayers are among the greatest strengths a person can have.
In conclusion, he prayed for the health, safety, and happiness of all mothers and said that a mother is a sacred relationship for which there is no substitute in the entire world.
