
Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir delivered a detailed address at GHQ marking one year since Marka-e-Haq, highlighting Pakistan’s military achievements, diplomatic progress, and regional security stance. He emphasized national unity, strategic success, and firm defence commitments. Moreover, his speech outlined both battlefield outcomes and broader geopolitical perspectives.
He issued a strong warning that any future hostile action against Pakistan would face severe and far-reaching consequences, reinforcing the country’s defence posture. The army chief described Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos as a major military success achieved with national unity and resolve. Consequently, he reiterated Pakistan’s readiness to respond decisively to any aggression.

Field Marshal Munir described the conflict as an ideological struggle rather than a conventional war between two states, stating that truth ultimately prevailed. He accused India of attempting to isolate Pakistan both militarily and diplomatically, while seeking to alter the regional balance of power.
