Iranian football authorities have raised concerns over travel and entry procedures for team members. They requested smooth visa approvals and strict security arrangements at airports, hotels, and stadium routes. The federation also insisted that all team personnel be granted entry without discrimination, including individuals with military service history.
Tensions have increased after reports that some Iranian officials faced travel restrictions linked to security concerns. US officials have said the team would be allowed to participate but warned that individuals linked to sanctioned groups could face entry issues.
