Turkey has unveiled a new advanced suicide naval drone named “Tufan” developed by defense company Aselsan. The system was introduced at the SAHA 2026 defense exhibition in Istanbul. This new development highlights Turkey’s growing focus on modern unmanned naval warfare technology.
According to the company, the Tufan unmanned surface vehicle is designed for autonomous naval combat operations. Moreover, it can carry out attack missions as well as surveillance and intelligence gathering. Therefore, it serves multiple roles in modern maritime warfare scenarios.
