The “Wall of Peace and Sufism” was inaugurated at the Sindh Bar Council, marking the beginning of a new tradition aimed at promoting peace, tolerance, and Sufi values.
Speaking on the occasion, Sindh Minister for Home and Law, Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar, said that the land of Sindh is enriched with the teachings of Sufi saints, where love, brotherhood, and harmony have always been given priority. He noted that Sufism fosters tolerance, unity, and humanity in society, and these values form the foundation of sustainable peace.
He further stated that the “Wall of Peace and Sufism” is not merely a symbolic initiative but a practical effort to spread a message of positivity and harmony in society. The minister added that this initiative marks the beginning of a meaningful and inspiring tradition within the Sindh Bar Council, which will serve as a source of guidance for future generations.
The ceremony was attended by legal leaders including Qurban Malano, Ayaz Tanio, Vice Chairman Sindh Bar Council Ishtiaq Memon, Asif Soomro, and other members of the legal fraternity, who appreciated the initiative.
