Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Changes Uniform Design Across Province

Published on: April 25, 2026 12:15 AM

KP Police

KP Police approves new uniform design across the entire province to improve consistency and identity. In Peshawar, officials confirmed the decision through official documents. The move introduces a standardized appearance for all officers.

According to documents, the Inspector General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police issued orders to implement the Police Uniform Regulations 2026. These rules aim to create uniformity in dress across the province. Officials said the changes will apply to all police units.

Under the new regulations, the color and design of uniforms will be the same for everyone. In addition, badges, shoes, and caps will also follow a single standard. This step will help improve discipline and present a unified image of the force.

Furthermore, police personnel in merged districts will now wear the same uniform as those in other districts. This decision removes previous differences in appearance. As a result, all officers across regions will follow identical dress codes.

The new rules will take effect from July 1, 2026. Officials believe the reform will strengthen professionalism and identity within the force. Thus, KP Police approves new uniform design across the entire province as part of broader institutional improvements.
