Meta has announced a major upgrade to its account system by expanding its Accounts Center into a unified “Meta Account” platform. The change will allow users to access Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and WhatsApp accounts from a single dashboard. The rollout aims to simplify account management across the company’s ecosystem.

Meta stated that users will be able to manage email addresses, connected accounts, and password settings from the unified dashboard. However, some app-specific settings, such as Facebook privacy controls, will remain within individual apps. WhatsApp security features will continue to be managed inside the app.
The platform will also include parental control features, allowing supervision of children’s accounts. Users will have the flexibility to choose which apps and devices are linked to the Meta Account. The company said this ensures both integration and user choice.
