Saira Agha

Just be natural!

Published on: November 28, 2017 12:44 AM

LAHORE: Off late, there has been a surge in the number of independent beauty products and skincare services at salons and markets, both local and international, sometimes leaving women spoilt for choice.

Kerastase, Guinot, Paul Mitchell and L’Oreal are some of the professional hair and skincare brands that a lot of salons house, are deemed trustworthy and reliable and in turn attract women to throng salon premises and demand their desired treatments, agreeing to dish out as much money as required, only to pamper themselves with all these renowned branded treatments.

And then something wonderful happens to the Pakistani market. The enterprising duo of Myra Qureshi Jahangir and Rema Taseer undertake an ambitious new venture to introduce to the local market, hair and skincare products, which are purely organic and are free from toxic chemicals such as parabens and silicones.

I remember, when they first launched their products, a little over three years ago – they instantly created a buzz in the market for their affordable and highly effective beauty treatments. And today, Conatural has successfully created a niche for itself in a market saturated by pricey branded hair and skincare products. They have been stocking at prominent malls, renowned multi-brand stores and even have their own independent outlet at Emporium Mall, Lahore.

Other than noticing how the sister duo channelled amazing hair and skin themselves, I decided to try some of the products myself, that Hifsa Khan Salon & Studio carried.

I tried on Conatural’s Intense Growth Hair Oil at first, which is priced at Rs 1,800, followed by their Intense Lustre Hair Oil, which is of the same price. I got a good head massage done after which my hair was washed thoroughly by Hair Repair Shampoo & Conditioner. Right from that moment onwards, my hair seemed to have taken a life of its own. It was shiny, healthier and looked voluminous, and my hand simply slid through every lock I ran my fingers into.

I also noticed how considering my scalp which is usually very oily, I waited a week after the wash to experiment and it took seven days precisely for any oil to reappear on my scalp and turn my hair limp. But the best experience was with Conatural’s Instant Glow Face Mask With Radiance Oil, available for Rs 2,000. The glow and the pink and white finish to my skin hasn’t left me to this day.
It’s a miracle treatment.

“You have to try the products at least once, to notice the results. They are a hit because their amazing results are coupled with the most affordable of prices as well,” beauty expert Hifsa Khan told me.

“If we didn’t believe deep in our hearts that these are the purest, healthiest and most effective certified organic products in the world, we wouldn’t have put our names on them,” Myra Qureshi Jahangir and Rema Taseer said.

“We’ve put our heart and soul in thoroughly researching every ingredient that is used in formulating our products. You can be confident that you are buying the purest and most effective organic products that money can buy from Conatural. We know who we are – our words and actions are aligned,” they added.

It’s like how I have mentioned earlier, that one truly needs to try out Conatural and experience the affordable luxury pampering to believe what the product claims.
