
A violent shooting at the historic Teotihuacan Archaeological Site in Mexico left a Canadian tourist dead and 13 others injured, shocking visitors at one of the country’s most visited heritage landmarks. The attack unfolded at the Pyramid of the Moon, where tourists were exploring the ancient site during daytime hours.
Authorities confirmed that a gunman opened fire at the popular tourist destination before later taking his own life at the scene. Officials said the attacker’s nationality remains unknown, and security forces quickly evacuated visitors while emergency teams responded to the chaotic situation.

Among the injured were citizens from multiple countries, including Canada, Colombia, Brazil, the United States, and Russia, highlighting the international nature of the tourist site.
