
Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf Riaz, has arrived in Saudi Arabia and made significant announcements regarding the arrangements for Hajj 2026.
According to the Federal Minister, the first flight carrying Pakistani pilgrims will depart on April 18, 2026, directly reaching Saudi Arabia.
Upon his arrival in Riyadh, officials of Pakistan Muslim League (N) warmly welcomed the minister. On this occasion, he stated that accommodation, food, and travel facilities for pilgrims have been further improved this year.
He added that these facilities have been made possible with the cooperation of the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey for Pakistani pilgrims.
The Federal Minister also announced that, for the first time, over 25,000 Pakistani pilgrims will be provided with high-speed travel between Makkah and Madinah via the Haramain High-Speed Railway.
He emphasized that all facilities during Hajj will meet international standards to make the pilgrimage experience comfortable and secure.
The minister urged pilgrims to complete all necessary documentation and visa formalities in advance to avoid any inconvenience during their journey.
