The meeting, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, brought together regional leaders to discuss ways to de-escalate the conflict between the United States and Iran, which has now entered its second month, raising concerns about wider regional instability and disruptions to global energy supplies.

In a message shared on social media, the prime minister thanked Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan for his visit and praised the kingdom’s restraint during the ongoing crisis. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with Saudi Arabia and highlighted its leadership role in the Muslim world, stressing the importance of unity among Islamic nations.
