The conference will be held in two phases: initial meetings with Chinese businesses already operating in Pakistan, followed by discussions with prospective investors interested in the country. The aim is to address security concerns and strengthen investor confidence.
Naqvi also announced the formation of a Special Protection Unit to safeguard foreign citizens, particularly Chinese nationals in Islamabad. The unit’s personnel will receive training in security protocols and the Chinese language to improve coordination.
