The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted partly cloudy weather in Karachi, with chances of isolated thunderstorms and rain on March 26 and 28. The forecast comes as a westerly wave continues to affect most parts of the country.
On Thursday, the PMD reported that Karachi will see partly cloudy skies with a maximum temperature of 30–32°C and a minimum of 24°C. Humidity is expected around 45–55% in the evening, accompanied by west/southwesterly winds.

Authorities cautioned that windstorms, hail, and lightning may damage weak structures such as billboards, electric poles, and solar panels. Farmers were advised to protect standing crops from possible damage. Last week, a thunderstorm in Karachi claimed 20 lives and injured eight others, highlighting the need for precaution.
