
Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi attended a six-nation conference on illegal immigration in Warsaw, Poland. He led the Pakistani delegation at talks focused on curbing human smuggling. The meeting matters as migration and border security affect regional stability and labor mobility.
Interior ministers from Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Finland, and Lithuania joined the conference. Participants discussed coordinated measures to combat illegal immigration networks. They also reviewed strategies to dismantle cross-border human trafficking operations.

Moreover, the six ministers praised Pakistan’s efforts to curb illegal migration and smuggling. They acknowledged Islamabad’s enforcement measures and cooperation with international partners. The countries agreed to facilitate official-level employment opportunities for Pakistani workers.
During the session, Naqvi briefed participants on the current Pakistan-Afghanistan border situation. He said 22 terrorist organizations are currently organizing inside Afghanistan. He described Pakistan as a barrier between global militants and Afghanistan.
