Met office predicts cold weather for Sindh

Pakistan Meteorological Department on Saturday predicted dry weather in most districts of the Sindh province during the next 24 hours. However, cold weather is forecast in morning and night.While, partly cloudy conditions are expected in coastal areas. Mainly, dry weather is likely to prevail in the province.

The Regional Meteorological Center (RMC) Quetta has forecast rain and thunderstorms in various parts of Balochistan from February 8 to 10 due to a shallow westerly weather system entering the province. Light to moderate rain with gusty winds is expected in Makran, Rakhshan, Kalat, Quetta, Loralai, and Zhob divisions, covering districts including Gwadar, Khuzdar, Kech, Chagai, Panjgur, Kalat, Washuk, Surab, Noshki, Kharan, Mastung, Quetta, Chaman, Pishin, Qila Abdullah, Qila Saifullah, Loralai, Musakhel, and Zhob. Thunderstorms with isolated hailstorms may occur in Gwadar, Kech, Panjgur, Khuzdar, Kalat, and Kharan.

Light snowfall is likely over hilly areas in Chaman, Pishin, Qila Abdullah, Killa Saifullah, and Ziarat from Sunday night to Monday evening. Strong winds with dust and sand may reduce visibility in Kech, Panjgur, Kharan, Washuk, Awaran, and Lasbela. The public and travelers are advised to remain cautious, plan journeys carefully, and stay updated on weather reports.
