
Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari condemned India’s continued oppression in Kashmir on Kashmir Solidarity Day, emphasizing that New Delhi’s revocation of the region’s constitutional status was imposed by force and remains unjust.
Addressing citizens, Bokhari praised the resilience of the Kashmiri people, highlighting their unwavering courage in facing military oppression while maintaining hope, unity, and steadfast commitment to their rights and freedom aspirations.

She reaffirmed Pakistan’s full support on behalf of Prime Minister, Punjab Chief Minister, and former PM Nawaz Sharif, stating that political, diplomatic, and moral backing would continue on all international platforms.
Bokhari described Kashmir as “the world’s largest prison” due to the presence of 800,000 Indian troops, ongoing restrictions, and targeted oppression of civilians, especially women, who face severe hardships under military control.

The minister emphasized that despite decades of aggression, the spirit of the Kashmiri people remains unbroken, with citizens continuing peaceful resistance, chants of patriotism, and calls for freedom resonating across the occupied region.
Concluding her address, Azma Bokhari stressed that Pakistan’s foreign policy is incomplete without Kashmir, vowing that the Kashmiri nation will never bow down and expressing hope for a free and independent Kashmir in the near future.
