
The Lahore High Court on Wednesday ordered strict safety measures for the upcoming Basant festival. Justice Malik Owais Khalid issued the written directive and postponed further hearings until February 11. The court emphasized protecting the public during the celebrations.
The court instructed authorities to set up medical camps in high-risk parks during the festival. Officials must ensure emergency services remain fully operational at all times. These measures aim to prevent accidents and protect citizens attending Basant events.
