
Zayn Malik is marking a major milestone in his solo career as his debut single Pillowtalk turns ten. The former One Direction star celebrated the anniversary during his first-ever solo Las Vegas residency, currently underway at Dolby Live in Park MGM.

Taking to Instagram on Friday, January 29, the 33-year-old singer shared a short video of himself performing Pillowtalk live on stage. Captioning the clip “2016–2026 10 years! Thank you,” Zayn expressed gratitude to fans who have supported him throughout his solo journey.

To further commemorate the occasion, the Dusk Till Dawn hitmaker posted a montage of photos and videos highlighting moments from the fifth show of his seven-night residency. One of the standout visuals showed Zayn wearing a white dinner jacket while delivering a fresh live rendition of the song under pink and purple lighting.
“Can’t believe it’s been 10 years,” he wrote over one of the clips. “From the bottom of my heart… thank you. I wouldn’t be here without you.”

Released on January 29, 2016, Pillowtalk marked Zayn’s first official release after leaving One Direction and quickly became a global sensation. The track debuted at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart, making Zayn the first British artist to debut at number one in the United States with a debut solo single.
The song also topped iTunes charts in 60 countries within 24 hours and set records for first-day streams by a male artist on Spotify at the time.

Directed by Bouha Kazmi, the music video featured model Gigi Hadid, Zayn’s then-girlfriend and the mother of his daughter, Khai Malik. A decade on, Pillowtalk remains a defining moment in Zayn Malik’s post–One Direction career and a fan favourite worldwide.
