
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said there is solid evidence of a link between the Afghan Taliban and the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). He made the remarks while addressing members of the National Peace Message Committee in Islamabad.
The prime minister warned that terrorism is resurfacing and vowed to crush it like in 2018. He said terrorists will be removed from Pakistan’s borders and dealt with decisively in the Indian Ocean if needed.

He emphasized that the enemy is providing all kinds of resources to these terrorist groups, strengthening their networks and capabilities. Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan is fully aware of these threats and remains committed to eliminating them.
The prime minister appreciated the presence of senior religious scholars from all schools of thought, calling it a positive sign. He stressed the importance of national unity and urged dialogue among stakeholders to resolve issues collectively.

He concluded that today Pakistan needs unity more than ever and that cooperation between the state, religious scholars, and society is essential to maintain peace and security.
