LAS VEGAS: At CES 2026, Google unveiled its latest Gemini AI features for Google TV, offering users new ways to interact with their devices across brands and screens, including projectors. The update focuses on delivering a visually rich and intuitive TV experience that blends entertainment, information, and personal media.

The Gemini framework now enables users to explore topics with interactive responses enhanced by images, videos, and real-time updates, such as sports scores. For more complex subjects, “Deep dives” provide narrated and interactive overviews designed for family-friendly understanding. This allows viewers to access information without leaving their screens or searching multiple sources.

A standout feature of the update is the integration with Google Photos. Users can search their photo library for specific people or moments, apply creative styles via Photos Remix, or turn memories into cinematic slideshows. Additionally, devices like Nano Banana and Veo can now reimagine personal photos or create original media directly on the TV.

Gemini AI also simplifies device settings. Viewers can use natural language commands such as “the screen is too dim” or “the dialogue is hard to hear,” and the AI will automatically optimize picture and sound. This eliminates the need to navigate complex menus, enhancing the overall viewing experience.

The new Gemini features will roll out in the coming months, starting with select TCL devices and other Google TV-supported products. The initial launch will include support for multiple languages, including English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Korean, making the AI tools accessible to a wide range of users globally.
