Pakistan condemns India’s ‘extrajudicial killings’ pattern

Published on: January 3, 2026 3:30 PM

Pakistan’s Foreign Office on Saturday condemned India’s alleged extrajudicial killings through proxies, calling them a persistent pattern. The ministry rejected claims made by the Indian Foreign Minister, calling them baseless and irresponsible. The FO accused India of using such allegations to cover up its failures.

A spokesperson highlighted India’s role in promoting terrorism and regional instability. The Kulbhushan Yadav case was cited as “indisputable proof of state-sponsored terrorism.” The FO emphasized that India’s Hindutva extremist ideology poses a serious threat to peace in South Asia.

The Foreign Office also criticized India’s occupation of Jammu and Kashmir, reaffirming Pakistan’s support for the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination. Officials stressed that unlawful control over the region continues to undermine stability and violate international norms.

Pakistan further condemned any unilateral violations of the Indus Waters Treaty. The FO warned that such breaches could jeopardize regional stability and stressed that Pakistan would take all necessary steps to protect its water rights.

The ministry concluded by urging India to stop baseless propaganda and focus on regional peace. Pakistan reaffirmed its commitment to counter terrorism, uphold international law, and safeguard its national interests.
