Authorities in Balochistan completed the evacuation of an Afghan refugee camp in the Chaghi area, ensuring that all residents returned to Afghanistan after proper registration and documentation were finalized.
The joint operation, led by the Chaghi administration and Dalbadin Rifle, began on November 26, 2025, and included careful processing of refugee records to ensure a smooth and orderly repatriation.
Following the evacuation, the local administration initiated the demolition of vacated houses and shops in the Gardhi Jungle area, with CCTV footage capturing the removal of abandoned structures for safety and redevelopment purposes.

Approximately 70,000 Afghan refugees were living in these camps, which had provided shelter for many years. Authorities emphasized that the repatriation was carried out in accordance with the state’s policies and humanitarian guidelines.
Officials confirmed that the process of clearing all remaining structures would continue systematically, ensuring that the land is restored and repurposed while maintaining records of all completed evacuations.
