
Pakistan’s Foreign Office said on Friday that Afghanistan is responsible for the killing of three Chinese nationals in Tajikistan. The attack involved a drone strike near the Afghan border, targeting a company where the victims worked. The spokesperson also condemned a shooting incident in the United States, calling it tragic and expressing condolences to the victims’ families.
During a weekly briefing, the spokesperson said the Washington shooting reflects a global resurgence of terrorism. He urged the international community to take steps to curb terrorist activities originating from Afghanistan. Pakistan expressed heartfelt condolences to the slain soldier’s family and reiterated its concern over cross-border terrorism.

Regarding the Tajikistan incident, the spokesperson emphasized that Afghanistan must prevent terrorist attacks from being launched from its soil. He said Pakistan is deeply saddened by the deaths of the three Chinese nationals and called for accountability and stronger regional security measures.
The spokesperson also condemned a statement by India’s Defence Minister on Sindh, calling it a “blatant violation of international law.” He described the statement as based on delusion and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to peaceful resolution while protecting its defence.
