The Rupee on Wednesday remained unchanged against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs 280.56. According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the Dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 281.45 and Rs 281.6, respectively. The price of the Euro increased by Rs1.53 to close at Rs324.80, from the previous day’s close of Rs 323.27, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). The Japanese Yen remained unchanged and closed at Rs 1.79, whereas the exchange rate of the British Pound witnessed an increase of Rs1.82 and closed at Rs 369.89 compared to the previous day’s Rs 368.07. The exchange rates of the Emirates Dirham and the Saudi Riyal remained stagnant to close at Rs 76.39 and Rs 74.80, respectively.
