
The ICC has officially announced the fixtures for the T20 World Cup 2026, confirming that Pakistan will meet arch-rivals India on February 15 in Colombo, creating massive excitement among cricket fans worldwide.
During a ceremony in Mumbai attended by top cricket stars, the ICC revealed that Pakistan will open their campaign on February 7 against the Netherlands, while India will begin their journey in Mumbai against the United States.

Moreover, the tournament will run from February 7 to March 8, featuring high-intensity group matches and knockout rounds. The first semi-final will take place in Kolkata, while Colombo will host the second semi-final on March 4.
However, the final on March 8 carries a unique condition, as it will be played in either Ahmedabad or Colombo depending on Pakistan’s qualification. If Pakistan reach the final, the match will be staged in Colombo to ensure neutrality and security.

The ICC also confirmed the group distribution, placing Pakistan and India together in Group A alongside Namibia, Netherlands and the United States, while outlining three matches per day for a packed and thrilling schedule across Sri Lanka and India.
Furthermore, Pakistan will play all of their matches in Colombo or Kandy, offering fans straightforward travel plans, while India will compete across multiple venues, ensuring a widespread home advantage throughout the event.
