
Lahore Qalandars on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to extend their partnership with the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for the next 10 years. The signing ceremony was attended by cricketers Haris Rauf, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Lahore Qalandars CEO Atif Rana.
The event also included a luncheon hosted by Lahore Qalandars in honor of the Zimbabwe cricket team. Owner Thameen Rana highlighted the franchise’s long-standing relationship with Zimbabwe cricket, noting that former player Brendan Taylor had represented Lahore Qalandars in the PSL.

Thameen Rana praised the support of the Zimbabwean captain and coaches, saying their guidance has always been valuable for the team’s growth. He expressed happiness over hosting the Zimbabwean team at the ceremony.
PSL CEO Salman Naseer also addressed the event, calling Lahore Qalandars’ 10-year journey “remarkable” and saying the franchise has raised the standard of the league. He added that Lahore Qalandars have set an example of how a professional cricket franchise should operate.

The extension marks a significant milestone for both Lahore Qalandars and the PSL, solidifying their long-term collaboration and commitment to promoting high-quality cricket in Pakistan.
