HOLLYWOOD: New behind-the-scenes photos from the set of The Odyssey offer fans their first glimpse of Robert Pattinson and Zendaya in the upcoming epic. The images reveal the film’s visual style and give a closer look at the actors’ characters ahead of the movie’s July 17, 2026 release.
Pattinson reprises a collaboration with director Christopher Nolan in his second project after Tenet, portraying Antinous, the lead suitor of Penelope. Zendaya appears as Athena, the guiding goddess who aids Odysseus, played by Matt Damon, on his journey back to Ithaca.

Previously released stills highlighted Anne Hathaway as Penelope, Tom Holland as Telemachus, and Mia Goth as Melantho. John Leguizamo also features as Eumaeus, Odysseus’ loyal swineherd, while other confirmed cast members include Himesh Patel, Jon Bernthal, Samantha Morton, Lupita Nyong’o, Charlize Theron, Benny Safdie, Elliot Page, Bill Irwin, and Corey Hawkins. Some roles are still under wraps.
Fans and critics alike are eagerly anticipating The Odyssey, which promises a star-studded ensemble and a visually striking retelling of the classic epic. The film marks one of the most ambitious adaptations of Homer’s tale in recent years.
