DG ISPR holds interactive session with students & teachers

ISPR DG engages with students, scholars in Mardan


RAWALPINDI – Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry held an interactive session with teachers and students from various universities and seminaries in Mardan on Saturday.

Representatives from Abdul Wali Khan University, Women University Mardan, University of Engineering and Technology, and several madaris participated in the event.

During the discussion, Lt Gen Chaudhry spoke on key topics such as Operation Marg Bar Kharij, Pakistan-Afghanistan relations, and the regional security situation. He reaffirmed that Pakistan has taken strong measures against terrorism and assured that the Pakistan Army and the nation stand united in the face of any external or internal threat.

Teachers attending the session praised the DG ISPR’s address for clarifying misconceptions about the armed forces and acknowledged the army’s vital role in peace and national development.

Students expressed solidarity with the Pakistan Army, stating that the youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa stand shoulder to shoulder with the forces for the country’s defence and stability. They also emphasized the need to counter propaganda on social media and appreciated the sacrifices of the armed forces in safeguarding the nation.
